Basic BA/BS degree in a quantitative field (for example, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Finance) or equivalent work experience 5+ years of experience in analytics or strategy roles in SaaS, e-commerce, or technology Experience with SQL, querying large, complex datasets and building reusable data models Experience building forecasts and scenario models for conversion and revenue (ideally for self-serve or PLG motions) Experience with spreadsheets (Google Sheets / Excel) for modeling and ad-hoc analysis Experience working with subscription business models and recurring revenue metrics Hands-on experience using AI or analytics copilots (for example, configuring prompts, working with LLM-powered tools, or integrating them into your workflows) Preferred High degree of comfort using advanced SQL techniques Familiarity with Tableau or other related BI tools Proven track record in fast-paced environments Excellent presentation and communication skills; ability to translate complex analysis into clear narratives and recommendations for senior stakeholders Comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and collaborating with globally distributed teams
As a Sr Growth Strategy & Operations Analyst on the PLG Strategy & Operations team, your charter is to help drive durable, efficient growth across our self-serve motions for Direct customers. To do this, you will leverage existing data frameworks to identify opportunities, support cross-functional alignment around those opportunities, and report back on whether the initiative worked. At this level, you are operating as a specialist within your immediate team/function. You apply growing functional and business knowledge to deliver work with increasing autonomy, anticipate common challenges, and support others in delivering high-quality results. You’ll also support the design and operationalization of AI-powered workflows and tools (for example, analytics copilots, agents, and automations) that make it easier for PLG to see what’s happening in the funnel and take action. This role blends analytics, strategy, and execution, with exposure to executive-level decision-making. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Sr. Manager, Growth Analytics. Responsibility Support the data, forecasting, target setting, and insight backbone for the PLG side of the Docusign business Leverage SQL, Google Analytics, Mixpanel, experimentation results, and product analytics to identify and size growth opportunities Use and help evolve AI tooling (including analytics copilots and LLM-based assistants) to scale insight generation and operational workflows Contribute to the design and configuration of AI-powered agents, copilots, and automations that support GTM workflows across PLG (for example, signal detection, opportunity identification, pipeline health) Run reporting as needed to support various projects, tasks and programs Work cross functionally with growth teams Become the SME for various processes and understand how things work to seek to improve and advise Support Growth Strategy & Operations Lead and Manager on project tasks, documentation needs, research and analysis that may include reporting Coordinate cross functionally with different personas in the process, seek to understand issues, filter down problems into understandable concepts and work with others as needed to resolve Measure and track the impact of process improvements on key performance indicators (KPIs) Utilize process mapping and data analysis techniques to assess process effectiveness Leverage growing technological and functional knowledge to inform your work, anticipate common challenges, and recommend better approaches or solutions Partner closely with PLG, Marketing, and Finance to drive alignment on where to invest and how to measure impact Connect teamwork and deliverables to broader business outcomes, identifying opportunities to increase value or reduce risk, especially by leveraging new efficiencies enabled by technology like AI where possible
