We are seeking a high-energy Senior Activewear Fashion Designer to lead the creative direction of our performance and “athleisure” lines. This role requires a designer who understands that activewear is where high-fashion meets high-function. You will be responsible for creating designs that not only look trend-forward in the US and Asian markets but also perform for active wear
Key Responsibilities

Performance Design: Create innovative designs for activewear (shorts,leggings, sports bras, outerwear, etc.) that prioritize movement, breathability, and support.

Trend Synthesis (US & Asia): Translate global “Gorpcore,” “Athleisure,” and “Technical Sportswear” trends from the US market into designs that resonate with the growing fitness culture in Asia.

Fabric & Trim Innovation: Source and select performance textiles (nylon/spandex blends, recycled polyesters) and trims (reflective tapes, bonded zippers, laser-cutting) that meet specific GSM and compression requirements.

Color & Print Direction: Develop seasonal palettes and “active” prints (sublimation, silicone hits) that withstand fabric stretch without cracking or fading.
•
Functional Detailing: Design with the athlete in mind—incorporating ergonomic pocket placements, chafe-free seam mapping, and strategic ventilation.
Qualifications
•
Experience: 5+ years in Activewear or Sportswear design.
•
Technical Savvy: Strong understanding of stretch-fabric behavior and specialized construction (Flatlock, 4-needle 6-thread, bonding/welding).
•
Software: Expert in Adobe Creative Suite. Gerber, Experience with 3D design (CLO3D) is a massive advantage for visualizing garment compression.
•
Language: Professional English (Required); Mandarin or Vietnamese (Advantageous for collaborating with regional performance mills).
•
Market Knowledge: Deep awareness of US brands (e.g., Lululemon, Alo Yoga, Nike) and Asian market preferences regarding modesty, fit, and color
