As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design and build enterprise-grade distributed systems across cloud platforms, with a focus on custom backend services, developer tooling (CLI), web applications, and AI-enabled systems. This role focuses on building cloud-native services and applications using general-purpose languages (e.g., TypeScript/Node.js) and modern frameworks (e.g., React), within a distributed system architecture spanning APIs, event-driven systems, and AI/ML platforms. You will play a key role in advancing platform reliability, scalability, and developer productivity while building AI-powered and autonomous engineering capabilities across the SDLC. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director, GTM Engineering. Responsibility Design and build scalable backend systems and services across cloud platforms (e.g., AWS/Azure) Develop custom applications, including CLI tools, web applications (TypeScript/React), and platform services Define and implement API-first and event-driven architectures, including service contracts, data models, and integration patterns Lead system design and architecture decisions, including decomposition, data flow, and cross-system interactions Design for scale and performance, including asynchronous processing, distributed workloads, and large data volumes Own the end-to-end lifecycle of platform services, including design, development, testing, CI/CD, deployment, and production operations Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling (e.g., GitHub Actions, containerized workflows) Implement observability and reliability patterns, including logging, monitoring (Datadog), alerting, and incident response Develop reusable frameworks, shared services, and platform utilities to improve engineering efficiency and consistency Integrate with internal and external systems via APIs, event streams, and cloud-native services Design and implement AI/ML integrations and agent-based systems to automate workflows and enable AI-driven software development and operations Contribute to secure system design, including access control, data protection, and compliance requirements Drive technical debt reduction, refactoring, and platform hardening efforts Mentor engineers and conduct code reviews, promoting strong software engineering practices and design standards
