Product Manager II, Attribution - Marketing Data Platform
Location: Amsterdam, Noord-Holland, Netherlands
Job Description
About the role
The Marketing Data Platform team sits within the Global Media Product organization and builds the foundational data products that power performance and brand media marketing measurement, optimization, and decision-making across Uber. Our mission is to help global media teams efficiently produce trusted marketing metrics, access and interpret marketing data, and activate that data for business use cases at scale. We are looking for a highly technical, data-oriented Product Manager to lead and scale Uber’s highly advanced marketing attribution and ingestion products. This person will serve as a product expert owning the systems and workflows that connect marketing touchpoints, conversion signals, attribution logic, and downstream reporting & optimization use cases.
Responsibilities
This person will serve as a product expert for marketing attribution and data ingestion, owning the systems and workflows that connect marketing touchpoints, conversion signals, attribution logic, and downstream reporting & optimization use cases. You will work closely with product, engineering, data solutions, applied science, marketing, and marketing leadership. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in modern marketing attribution, able to challenge the norm and build products that serve both technical and non-technical users.
Requirements
•
A technical undergraduate degree and/or equivalent work experience in a high-growth company or startup.
•
4+ years of product management experience delivering technical, data-intensive, or platform-oriented products.
•
Baseline familiarity with marketing technology, marketing attribution and measurement, or data systems.
•
Ability to work effectively with engineering, data operations, data science, and marketing teams on technically complex products.
•
Strong analytical orientation, with the ability to use data to make decisions, evaluate trade-offs, and drive alignment without getting stuck in analysis paralysis.
•
Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into clear product requirements, roadmaps, and execution plans.
•
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with a track record of aligning stakeholders across technical and business functions.
•
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to executive and non-technical audiences.
•
High ownership mindset, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves, navigate ambiguity with limited guidance, solve problems hands-on, and drive cross-functional work to completion.
•
Strong user empathy and ability to apply user-centric thinking to complex platform and data product challenges.
•
Passion for Uber’s mission, marketplace complexity, and hybrid technology/operations environment.
Preferred Qualifications
•
Technical background in data engineering, data science, or related data system, proficient in SQL and/or Python
•
Experience building marketing attribution, incrementality measurement, conversion tracking, data ingestion, or marketing data platform products.
•
Experience building internal or B2B products.
•
Experience building clean data models, semantic layers, metrics platforms, governance frameworks, or structured data products that enable AI and automation capabilities.
•
Experience scaling self-serve data products while improving data quality, lineage, privacy, reliability, and operational rigor.
