World Relief seeks an Integration Support Intern to join our team! The Dari/Pashto-speaking Integration Support Intern assists World Relief’s Cultural Integration Specialist in facilitating biweekly integration groups for preliterate Afghan women, with the goal of helping them grow toward stability through support, education, role modeling, and resources. The position aids in screening and enrolling clients, facilitating online classes, client testing, tracking attendance and gains, and general administrative support for the Integration classes. This position requires fluency in Dari and/or Pashto and is ideal for students pursuing studies in Social Work, Behavioral Sciences, Education, Health, or other related fields. The intern will become familiar with how resettlement agencies and educational programming meets refugee needs, gain a better understanding of the resources available to preliterate adults, and gain experience using supporting clients and tracking their progress. This is an unpaid internship; however, university credit may be available with prior approval.
