• Patient Communication and Coordination:
o Engage with patients to discuss Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) procedures, ensuring clarity and understanding.
o Handle TMS-related calls from patients, providing comprehensive information and assistance.
o Utilize standard protocols to assess the eligibility of new patients for TMS and schedule the initial consultation with the TMS provider based on the patient’s preferred location.
o Contact patients and answer incoming patient calls to schedule appointments. o Address inquiries related to payment and facilitate payment collections.
o Engage with patients to discuss and resolve outstanding balances, facilitating prompt payments.
• Administrative Support and Appointment Management
o Review, update, and organize insurance information following established protocols.
o Gather patient information, document, submit and manage prior authorizations for patients seeking treatment.
o Ensure that all requisite new patient paperwork is completed accurately and uploaded to the patient’s chart prior to the scheduled appointment
o Send and accept patient forms as needed through the Electronic Health Record. o Coordinate care with internal and external clinicians.
o Exercise good judgement and professionalism.
• Patient Interaction & Equipment Upkeep
o Utilize high tech TMS equipment (training provided) as a member of the care team.
o Engage with the patient during treatment sessions, ensuring that the patient stays comfortable and alert
o Ensure the TMS chair is clean and disinfected/wiped down between patients.
o Provide an efficient experience for patients by maintaining a well-organized clinic prep and workflow.
o Occasional travel within the assigned region may be required to provide coverage as needed
o Travel within region to market TMS services within the community including to other mental health providers, community centers and hospital systems
