ABTC is seeking a motivated and versatile Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to help build and strengthen our EHS program in a fast-growing manufacturing environment. Based at ABTC’s Lithium-Ion Battery Recycling Facility in the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center (TRIC) in McCarran, Nevada, you will partner with employees and leaders across all levels of the organization to promote a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace. Using a risk-based approach, you will drive employee engagement, support continuous improvement, and help foster a culture of safety and accountability.
In this role, you will develop, implement, and improve programs within ABTC’s EHS Management System, with exposure to environmental permitting and compliance, regulatory inspections, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, construction safety, waste management, and safety program development. You will also support training initiatives, incident investigations, and corrective actions that reduce risk and improve operational performance.
You will help ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations while supporting ABTC’s commitment to operational excellence, sustainability, and employee well-being.
