As a Staff Software Engineer - Insurance, you will be a senior technical leader across two connected fronts: diagnosing and evolving our service architecture as the platform scales, and leading the rollout of AI/agentic tooling across the team’s engineering workflow, from spec and code generation to testing and validation.
You will operate at platform scale, building infrastructure and practices other teams depend on, while partnering closely with Product, Data, Security, Compliance, and Insurance partners. You’ll be part of a lean, entrepreneurial team that delivers outsized business impact while protecting millions of customers, sitting at the intersection of embedded insurance, Nu’s most important customer surfaces, and our insurer partners. This team is also one of the earliest adopters of agentic engineering within Nubank, putting you at the center of how that transformation actually happens.
