Aviagen is currently seeking an experienced Farm Maintenance Technician. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of the maintenance functions to ensure safe working conditions and to meet or exceed regulatory compliance. And partners with management team to create and maintain a safe work environment.

Responsibilities
Job Duties/ Accountabilities:
•
Preventative maintenance and repairs on electrical and mechanical equipment
•
Building and repairing equipment and structures
•
Handing harsh chemicals
•
Helping crews where and when it is needed
•
Sanitize and disinfect rooms
•
Performing routine checks and maintaining an up-to-date log
•
May be asked to help cover another shift
•
Operate forklift
Requirements
Capabilities:
•
Able to lift 50lbs
•
Electrical/Mechanical experience preferred
•
Must have a valid driver’s license
•
Must be able to adhere to biosecurity rules
•
Must be a team player
•
Must be capable of adapting to change and completing tasks in a timely manner.
