A quick snapshot
As an Associate Software Engineer on Conga’s AI Platform team, you’ll help build next‑generation AI and GenAI products used by enterprises worldwide. You’ll work across the full development lifecycle - designing, coding, testing, deploying, and maintaining software - while learning modern AI development practices and contributing to the technical foundation of our flagship solutions.
This is a role where you’ll grow fast, work with cutting‑edge technologies, and collaborate with experienced engineers who will help you develop strong engineering fundamentals.

Are you the person we’re looking for?
You’re developing strong technical foundations.
You write clean, maintainable code and are eager to deepen your expertise in Python, FastAPI, PyTest, Celery, and modern software design patterns. You understand the basics of cloud technologies and DevOps principles and are comfortable using Git/GitHub and tools like JIRA.
You’re curious about AI and GenAI.
You’re excited to participate in the AI development lifecycle - from data collection and preprocessing to model training, evaluation, and deployment. You enjoy experimenting with new generative AI techniques and want to grow your skills in MLOps and frameworks like LangChain or LangGraph.
You’re a builder who tests and improves.
You believe in building testable software and understand the value of automated testing using tools like PyTest or Selenium. You’re comfortable debugging issues, triaging defects, and contributing to service health through telemetry and root‑cause analysis.
You collaborate and communicate well.
You enjoy working with peers, participating in design reviews, and giving thoughtful code review feedback. You document your work clearly and contribute to training materials that help others learn.
You take ownership - even early in your career.
You’re ready to work in a DevOps model, partnering with product management to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software in production. You take initiative, stay organized, and care about delivering high‑quality work.
What will give you an edge
•
Familiarity with object‑oriented programming, concurrency, and REST APIs
•
Experience with CI/CD tools like Terraform or GitHub Actions
•
Exposure to SQL or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, MSSQL, Postgres)
•
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or GCP technologies (VertexAI, BigQuery, GKE, GCS, DataFlow, Kubeflow)
•
Experience with additional languages (C#, Java, Scala)
•
Hands‑on experience with testing frameworks (PyMock, xUnit, mocking libraries)
