KPA 1 - Nuclear Medicine Imaging & Radiopharmaceutical Administration
Prepare, calculate, administer, measure, and record radiopharmaceutical dosages in accordance with physician prescriptions; perform diagnostic imaging procedures and produce accurate images for physician interpretation.
KPA 2 - Radiation Safety, Compliance & Quality Control
Ensure safe handling, storage, calibration, and disposal of radioactive materials; maintain imaging and laboratory equipment; comply with all federal, state, and organizational safety regulations and quality standards.
KPA 3 - Patient Care, Education & Safety
Explain procedures and safety precautions to patients, provide assistance during examinations, protect patient rights, and maintain strict confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and applicable regulations.
KPA 4 - Regulatory Compliance & Professional Credentialing
Maintain active state licensure in Nuclear Medicine and General Radiography; meet continuing education requirements; adhere to all federal, state, and organizational policies related to patient care, billing, IT, and disaster recovery.
KPA 5 - Operational Support & Team Collaboration
Maintain a safe, organized work environment; assist with training new employees; support clinic operations by working across locations and overtime as needed to meet business demands.
