Reporting to the Vice President HSEC and working across the Executive Office and broader Function, you will:
• Maintain a forward view of the Vice President’s priorities, commitments and upcoming decisions, identifying what needs to happen before it becomes urgent.
• Protect executive time through active calendar management, challenging competing demands and ensuring time is directed to the highest-value priorities.
• Exercise judgement about what requires the Vice President’s attention, what can be resolved independently and what can be redirected to the appropriate person.
• Ensure key meetings and engagements are purposeful and well prepared, with agendas, materials, logistics and relevant context available in advance.
• Maintain the rhythm of the Executive Office, connecting the daily huddle, leadership meetings, governance commitments and forward calendar so priorities remain visible.
• Maintain oversight of actions and commitments, following through with owners and closing loops so the Vice President does not need to chase progress.
• Plan ahead for travel, governance requirements, stakeholder engagements and priority meetings, anticipating potential conflicts or issues.
• Build trusted relationships across the business so information flows effectively and issues can be resolved quickly.
• Create a professional, welcoming and responsive Executive Office that reinforces the culture and ways of working expected across the Function.
