Job Profile Summary:
Provides routine, technical, and administrative support to research projects to ensure established protocols and procedures are followed for the lab. Responsible for following lab safety standards.
Job Description:
The research laboratory aide will assist PI Grodin in all aspects of her day-to-day laboratory tasks, including coordinating meetings, managing undergraduate students, submitting and managing IRB protocols, establishing laboratory data infrastructure, recruiting participants, and running participants through data protocols.
Position Salary Range:

$24.00 per hour.
Essential Duties:
•
Essential duties include coordinating meetings, managing undergraduate students, submitting and managing IRB protocols, establishing laboratory data infrastructure, recruiting participants, and running participants through data protocols.
Desired Qualifications:
•
BA or BS in psychology, neuroscience, or related field.
•
Experience assisting with or managing a human subjects laboratory.
•
Experience with Office software (word, excel).• Preferred experience with IRB.
•
Preferred experience working with participants with alcohol or substance use disorders.
•
Preferred experience with data management.
Working Environment:
•
Participant related work will be on campus. All other work can be done on a laptop or computer from anywhere on campus or off campus.
