Your Role
As a Presales – Dell Technologies, you will be the technical reference point for Dell Infrastructure solutions, supporting partners and internal sales teams in designing, positioning and delivering value-added solutions.
Your primary focus will be on Server and Networking technologies, while actively promoting cross-sell and attach opportunities across Dell’s broader portfolio. You will collaborate closely with sales, vendor and partner teams to drive business growth through technical expertise and solution-oriented consulting.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
•
Provide technical presales support for Dell Technologies solutions, with a focus on Server and Networking.
•
Design, size, and position infrastructure solutions based on customer and partner requirements.
•
Deliver technical presentations, workshops, demos, and solution recommendations.
•
Support sales teams in identifying and developing new business opportunities.
•
Promote cross-sell and attach opportunities across Dell’s infrastructure portfolio.
•
Work closely with Dell Technologies and partners to develop solution-led opportunities.
•
Support the creation of proposals, BOMs, technical documentation, and solution architectures.
•
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Dell technologies, certifications, and market trends.
•
Assist partners throughout the sales cycle, from opportunity identification to solution positioning.
What We’re Looking For
•
Previous experience in a Presales, Solution Architect, Systems Engineer, or Technical Consultant role within the IT industry.
•
Strong technical expertise in Dell Server and Networking solutions.
•
Dell Technologies certifications are highly preferred.
•
Good understanding of datacenter, infrastructure, virtualization, and enterprise networking environments.
•
Ability to identify cross-sell and attach opportunities across complementary technologies.
•
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business audiences.
•
Customer-focused mindset and strong problem-solving capabilities.
•
Fluency in English.

Compensation & Pay Transparency
Ingram Micro is committed to fair, transparent, and equitable compensation practices, in line with applicable EU and Italian regulations, including Directive (EU) 2023/970 and D.Lgs. 96/2026.
Minimum salary range: Annual gross salary (RAL) EUR 40,000.
The final compensation package will be determined based on objective criteria, including:
•
Relevant professional experience and skills;
•
Certifications and technical expertise;
•
Scope and responsibilities of the role;
•
Internal equity and market benchmarks.
Additional compensation components and benefits may include:
•
Meal vouchers;
•
Welfare and insurance programs linked to the applicable National Collective Labour Agreement;
•
Participation in company incentive plans, where applicable.
Compensation and grading will be aligned with the applicable National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL Commercio) and are subject to periodic review based on performance and business needs.
