About the role
M&C Home Depot is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to maintain the physical structure and equipment of M&C Home Depot & Sunbilt by servicing, preserving, repairing, and creating the necessary hardware for the effective functioning of the company.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
•
Maintain M&C Home Depot & Sunbilt properties, which include all buildings, furniture, fixtures, and fittings.
•
Performs Preventative Maintenance on equipment and buildings as per established schedules and locations.
•
Ensure that the Working Environment and Storage Area are kept aesthetically appealing and in good repair.
•
Responsibility for the Company’s equipment.
•
Ensures that all activities and operations comply with Health and Safety standards and Company guidelines.
•
Perform any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor or Manager.
APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS
•
A minimum of five (5) CXCs, including English and Mathematics.
•
A minimum of two (2) years’ professional experience in maintenance.
•
Skills certificate in carpentry and joinery,basic knowledge of plumbing and electricity, and a certificate in refrigeration and air-conditioning.
•
Good interpersonal communication skills.
•
Ability to work long, flexible hours, including weekends.
•
Valid driver’s license endorsed for light goods.
•
Must be twenty-five (25) years and over.
•
A minimum of two (2) years of driving experience.
