We are seeking an experienced Backend Engineer to join our growing Platform team. As a Backend Engineer, you will be a key contributor to the development, implementation, and maintenance of our core B2B logistics products, working closely with the Engineering Lead.
Responsibilities
•
Collaborate with the Engineering Lead to translate product requirements into clear technical designs and implementation plans.
•
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems, microservices, and robust RESTful APIs within the defined platform architecture.
•
Develop clean, well-tested, production-ready code primarily using Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
•
Implement and deliver robust, user-focused features effectively, seeking guidance when necessary to ensure quality and timely completion.
•
Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to ensure seamless feature delivery.
•
Participate in identifying and resolving production issues, focusing on system maintenance and performance optimization.
Requirements
•
3+ years of professional experience focused on backend or full-stack software engineering.
•
Experience in developing business-to-business (B2B) enterprise software, ERP, WMS, or TMS systems.
•
Proficiency in Node.js (Express.js) and TypeScript/JavaScript.
•
Solid understanding and experience working with relational and NoSQL databases, specifically MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
•
Proven ability to develop applications on cloud platforms like Google Cloud or Firebase.
•
Ability to work effectively and take ownership of assigned tasks in a remote setting.
•
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
•
Good working proficiency in English (both written and verbal) to collaborate effectively with the remote team and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
•
Experience working with MabangERP or similar warehouse/transportation management systems.
•
Background in logistics, supply chain, or related domains.
•
Familiarity with GraphQL or Serverless technologies.
