Position: Test Engineer Fire Suppression 消防灭火系统测试
Location: 大部分城市远程办公
About the Role：
We are seeking an experienced Test Engineer to act as our local technical resource across China and the wider Asia region. This is a predominantly field-based role, with the successful candidate working from home while travelling extensively to client and manufacturer sites to conduct witness testing. The primary focus of the role will be witnessing and evaluating fire suppression system testing, including aerosol, water mist and kitchen fire suppression systems as well as other firefighting products.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
•
Conduct witness testing at manufacturer and client facilities throughout China and Asia.
•
Evaluate test setups, procedures and results against applicable standards and certification requirements.
•
Conduct witness testing of fixed firefighting systems, including aerosol, water mist and kitchen fire suppression systems.
•
Conduct witness testing of portable extinguishers and fire brigade equipment.
•
Prepare technical reports and test documentation.
•
Liaise with manufacturers, laboratories, certification personnel and project stakeholders.
•
Support certification and product approval activities.
•
Represent the company professionally during customer visits and technical meetings.
•
Travel regularly within China and internationally across Asia-Pacific.
Essential Requirements
•
Degree, diploma or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
•
Experience in testing, inspection, certification, commissioning or validation of fire protection systems.
•
Strong knowledge of fixed firefighting systems and related fire protection products.
•
Experience interpreting and applying international standards and test protocols.
•
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
•
Fluent Mandarin Chinese and professional working proficiency in English.
•
Full right to work in China.
Desirable Requirements
•
Knowledge of relevant international standards (EN, ISO).
•
Previous experience with certification bodies, testing laboratories, fire protection manufacturers or inspection organisations.
•
Experience witnessing or conducting full-scale fire tests.
•
Background in fire safety engineering or fire protection systems.
•
Knowledge of aerosol, water mist, kitchen suppression systems, portable extinguishers or fire brigade equipment.
