About the role
About the Role
As a SQL Server Developer, you will design, develop, and optimize data solutions that enable informed decision-making across the organization. You will build scalable databases, ETL processes, and reporting solutions that transform complex data into actionable insights. Working closely with business and technology stakeholders, you will help ensure data accuracy, performance, and reliability. Success in this role is measured through the delivery of efficient data solutions, optimized database performance, and high-quality reporting outcomes.
Responsibilities
What You Will Be Doing
• Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases, stored procedures, views, and functions.
• Build and support ETL workflows using SSIS to integrate and transform data from multiple sources.
• Develop and enhance SSRS reports and dashboards that support business and operational objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing strategies, and execution plan analysis.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across data platforms and reporting environments.
• Monitor database health and proactively resolve performance and reliability issues.
• Troubleshoot data processing, reporting, and integration challenges to minimize business impact.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for database structures, workflows, and reporting logic.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through automation, process optimization, and best practices.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
• Hands-on experience developing solutions using Microsoft SQL Server.
• Strong proficiency in T-SQL, including complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and performance tuning.
• Experience building and maintaining ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Experience developing reports and dashboards using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Strong understanding of relational database design, normalization, indexing, and query optimization.
• Experience working with large datasets while ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting enterprise data warehouse environments.
• Knowledge of database monitoring, performance diagnostics, and capacity planning.
• Familiarity with data integration and reporting best practices in financial services environments.
• Experience with scripting or automation tools to improve data operations and efficiency.
• Understanding of data governance, security, and data quality management principles.
