Job Summary
An employee who performs any and all functions connected with the storage and distribution of inventory supplies.
Essential Functions
•
JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES: Demonstrates the required job specific technical/professional knowledge, skills and abilities. *
•
STAT requests per pre-arranged schedule.
•
Loads replenishment/Exchange Carts per pre-arranged schedule, returning all delivery carts to storeroom.
•
Documents all items delivered to units on green bar sheets that are turned in daily for proper recording. Stores products in a neat and orderly fashion.
•
Re-stocks and maintains orderly work area assigned in storeroom on a daily basis.
•
Breaks down cartons and cleans work area prior to end of shift.
•
Ability to perform inquiry functions, using the hospital information system to expedite deliveries and requests.
•
Participates in quality improvement teams taking an active role towards fulfillment of teams.
•
Maintains safe and orderly work area and work practices.
•
Performs such other duties as may be assigned, and in whatever capacity necessary as directed from time to time.
