About the role
As an In Room Dining Waiter/Waitress at Conrad Athens The Ilisian, you will provide exceptional dining experiences for guests in the comfort of their accommodations. Your role is vital in ensuring that room service maintains the same high standards of quality and service that our guests expect throughout the hotel. You will be responsible for delivering food and beverages, setting up trays, and creating a memorable in-room dining experience.
Responsibilities
•
Respond promptly and accurately to in-room dining orders, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and guest preferences.

Deliver food and beverages to guest rooms with professionalism, maintaining a courteous, friendly, and polished demeanor at all times.
•
Set up dining trays or tables as requested, ensuring a clean, well-organized, and aesthetically pleasing presentation of all items.
•
Promptly clear used trays, dishes, and utensils, maintaining cleanliness and order in both guest areas and service stations.
•
Present menus and offer informed recommendations, effectively communicating daily specials and accommodating guest preferences.
•
Address guest inquiries and special requests efficiently, ensuring comfort, satisfaction, and a seamless dining experience.
•
Coordinate closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation, accurate order fulfillment, and proper handling of dietary restrictions.
•
Maintain strict adherence to health, hygiene, and safety standards, in compliance with hotel protocols and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
•
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or upscale dining environment.
•
Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on personalized in-room dining experiences.
•
Excellent communication skills in both Greek and English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
•
Excellent communication skills and confidence in handling phone orders.
•
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
•
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling of culinary items.
•
Detail-oriented with a focus on presentation and overall guest satisfaction.
•
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
