About This Role
The Aladdin Client Transformation (ACT) team is committed to driving innovation, automation, and operational excellence across the organization.
As ACT continues to scale, there is an increasing opportunity to leverage technology, AI, and process transformation to improve delivery efficiency, enhance scalability, and create measurable business value. We are seeking a Vice President, Business Transformation & Automation Lead to partner with stakeholders across ACT and support Project Enablement and Upgrade Delivery initiatives. This individual will identify opportunities to modernize operations, build technology-enabled solutions, and drive strategic transformation initiatives that improve the way we deliver for our clients and teams. This role sits at the intersection of business transformation, AI, automation, process optimization, and operational excellence, combining strategic thinking with hands-on solution development.
Your Team
The Business Transformation & Automation Lead will work closely with stakeholders across Delivery, Product, Engineering, Support, and Operations teams to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement. The team is focused on improving how ACT delivers projects and upgrades by leveraging modern technologies, AI-enabled solutions, automation, and scalable operating models. Successful initiatives will enhance productivity, reduce manual effort, improve delivery quality, and accelerate the adoption of best practices across the organization. This role provides significant exposure to senior leadership and offers the opportunity to influence strategic direction, operational transformation, and the future delivery model for ACT.
Your Responsibilities
Business Innovation & Strategy
•
Identify and prioritize opportunities to improve operational efficiency, scalability, quality, and delivery effectiveness.
•
Research and evaluate emerging technologies, AI capabilities, automation solutions, and industry best practices.
•
Develop business cases, implementation roadmaps, and recommendations for innovation initiatives.
•
Drive adoption and change management activities to maximize business impact.
•
Maintain visibility into innovation initiatives, outcomes, and business value delivered.
•
Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence.
Process Transformation & Operational Excellence
•
Analyze existing workflows, operating models, and delivery processes to identify bottlenecks and optimization opportunities.
•
Design and implement scalable solutions that improve productivity, consistency, and quality.
•
Define KPIs, metrics, and reporting frameworks to measure operational performance and business outcomes.
•
Lead continuous improvement initiatives across implementation and upgrade delivery activities.
•
Partner with stakeholders to simplify, standardize, and modernize delivery processes.
AI & Automation
•
Partner with teams to identify manual and repetitive activities suitable for automation.
•
Design, build, and deploy applications, automations, AI agents, and proof-of-concepts that address business challenges and improve operational efficiency.
•
Support the adoption of AI-enabled capabilities across reporting, analytics, testing, onboarding, documentation, project management, and operational activities.
•
Develop prototypes and pilot solutions to validate ideas and measure business value.
•
Partner with Engineering teams to productionize and scale successful solutions.
Project Enablement & Upgrade Delivery Support
•
Act as a strategic partner to Project Enablement and Upgrade Delivery leadership.
•
Support initiatives related to implementation acceleration, upgrade delivery optimization, SaaS onboarding, hosting migrations, and operational transformation.
•
Identify repeatable implementation and upgrade activities that can be standardized, automated, or enhanced through technology-enabled solutions.
•
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define and execute transformation roadmaps.
•
Prepare executive materials, business reviews, presentations, and stakeholder communications.
Your Qualifications Essential
•
5+ years of experience in business transformation, operational excellence, consulting, technology, implementation, or delivery-focused roles.
•
Proven ability to identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and scalable operating model improvements.
•
Hands-on experience designing and building solutions using Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Power Platform, Python, Power BI, or similar technologies.
•
Experience building applications, automations, AI agents, proof-of-concepts, and workflow accelerators that deliver measurable business value.
•
Strong understanding of AI, automation, and emerging technologies, with the ability to translate ideas into practical business solutions.
•
Experience partnering with engineering and technology teams to scale solutions from prototype to production.
•
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
•
Experience leveraging data and metrics to support decision-making and prioritization.
•
Ability to develop business cases and articulate business value and ROI.
•
Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across functions and seniority levels.
•
Superior communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and effectively.
•
Self-starter who is well organized and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
•
Experience driving change management and adoption initiatives.
•
Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and modern software development practices.
Nice If You Have
•
Experience within financial services, FinTech, SaaS platforms, or enterprise software implementations.
•
Experience supporting implementation, onboarding, upgrade delivery, migration, or transformation programs.
•
Familiarity with low-code/no-code platforms and citizen-developer frameworks.
•
Experience managing innovation portfolios, strategic initiatives, or transformation programs.
•
Understanding of operational reporting, KPI development, and business performance measurement.
•
Experience with Aladdin, eFront, APIs, integrations, SQL, VBA, or similar technologies.
•
Professional certifications or designations (e.g., CFA, CAIA, FRM, PMP, Microsoft Power Platform certifications).
