About the Role
At Nscale, we’re on a mission to build the engine of superintelligence, and the open AI ecosystem is central to how that future gets built.
We’re looking for an Ecosystem Marketing Manager to build and grow Nscale’s presence across the AI/ML developer ecosystem. This role will identify, own, and deliver strategic ecosystem marketing opportunities across leading frameworks, libraries, open-source projects, developer tools, and communities, with an initial focus on PyTorch, Hugging Face, Ray, vLLM, and the broader open-source AI ecosystem.
You’ll build relationships with the companies, projects, maintainers, and communities shaping how AI is built, turning those relationships into meaningful programs that create value for developers while growing awareness, adoption, and advocacy for Nscale. This is distinct from product marketing and from commercial partnerships (e.g. hardware or channel partners). This role lives in developer and community marketing: building genuine relationships with the open-source ecosystem, rather than managing strategic technology partnerships.
This role sits within Product Marketing and focuses on four core pillars:

Ecosystem partnerships & activation: Build relationships with strategic AI/ML ecosystem players and turn them into high-impact co-marketing programs.
•
Open-source & community growth: Strengthen Nscale’s presence and participation across open-source communities, helping grow the ecosystems that matter to AI developers.
•
Ecosystem intelligence: Identify established, growing, and emerging technologies, projects, and communities that Nscale should engage with.
•
Developer adoption: Create stronger journeys from the tools and communities developers already use into Nscale.
What You’ll Do
•
Own the ecosystem marketing strategy. Define where and how Nscale should engage across the AI/ML ecosystem, prioritising the frameworks, libraries, tools, open-source projects, and communities most relevant to developers and Nscale’s platform.
•
Build and activate ecosystem relationships. Develop relationships with key players across PyTorch, Hugging Face, Ray, vLLM, Kubernetes, inference, training, agents, data, observability, MLOps, and the wider AI developer stack - turning them into joint technical content, demos, integrations, workshops, events, developer programs, and campaigns.

Grow Nscale’s open-source presence. Build programs that strengthen Nscale’s credibility, contribution, and participation in open source, working with maintainers, contributors, projects, and communities to create meaningful developer engagement. ****

Build ecosystem intelligence. Track established, growing, and emerging technologies, projects, communities, and developer trends to identify where momentum is building, surface new partnership opportunities, and inform where Nscale should invest next.

Discover and champion ecosystem builders. Identify developers, maintainers, startups, and OSS projects building with Nscale or technologies across our ecosystem, turning their work into stories, showcases, content, collaborations, and community opportunities.

Create ecosystem-to-Nscale journeys. Work across Product, Growth, Developer Relations, and Developer Experience to turn ecosystem engagement into clear paths for developers to discover Nscale, try the platform, build, and ultimately scale workloads.
•
Partner with Social and Growth on developer channels. Work with the Social and Growth teams to identify where developers are most active, including channels like X, Reddit, Discord, and Slack, and make sure ecosystem programs show up there.
•
Support ecosystem GTM and launches. Build activation plans around new integrations, ecosystem partnerships, open-source initiatives, and relevant platform capabilities, ensuring they reach the right developer audiences and communities.
•
Measure and grow ecosystem impact. Establish KPIs across ecosystem reach, developer engagement, community growth, partner activation, OSS participation, integrations, adoption, and ecosystem-sourced growth.
Who You Are
•
6+ years of experience across ecosystem marketing, developer marketing, developer relations, technical partnerships, open-source marketing, or product marketing within AI/ML, cloud infrastructure, or developer technology.
•
Strong understanding of the modern AI/ML developer ecosystem and how frameworks, libraries, infrastructure, models, tools, and communities fit together.
•
Familiar with technologies and communities such as PyTorch, Ray, vLLM, Hugging Face, Kubernetes, and the broader open-source AI stack.
•
You naturally track which technologies are gaining momentum, who’s building them, and where developers are actually spending their time.
•
Proven ability to build relationships with technology companies, open-source projects, maintainers, developer communities, and ecosystem partners.
•
Experience turning partnerships into tangible developer-facing programs rather than partnerships that exist only on paper.
•
Strong understanding of developer audiences and the channels that influence them, including GitHub, Discord, Slack communities, developer events, technical content, open source, and community-led programs.
•
Comfortable working cross-functionally across Product, Engineering, Developer Relations, Growth, Partnerships, and Marketing.
•
Data-driven and able to combine quantitative ecosystem signals with qualitative community insight to prioritise opportunities.
•
Strong bias toward action and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where the AI ecosystem changes quickly.

A clear AI/ML ecosystem landscape and prioritization framework established, covering strategic, growing, and emerging technologies and communities.
•
Priority relationships established across PyTorch, Hugging Face, Ray, vLLM, and other strategically important parts of the AI/ML ecosystem.
•
A repeatable pipeline of ecosystem co-marketing opportunities established, with joint developer content, community activations, events, and programs underway.
•
A measurable program established for identifying and engaging open-source projects, maintainers, developers, and companies building on Nscale.
•
Nscale’s presence strengthened across priority open-source and developer communities.
•
Clear developer journeys established from priority ecosystem technologies and integrations into Nscale.
•
Ecosystem intelligence and reporting established to track developer momentum, emerging technologies, ecosystem opportunities, community growth, and program impact.
•
A growing pipeline of developer and OSS success stories showcasing what the community is building with Nscale.

The range below reflects the base salary for the position. Actual compensation may vary based on job-related factors such as skill set, experience, education, and location. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for bonus, equity, and/or commission programs. Nscale may offer a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, flexible paid time off, parental leave, and retirement plan participation.
