12 Hour Days: This is a Day shift position, with hours from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The role follows a rotating 2-2-3 schedule: two days on, two days off, three days on, followed by two days off, two days on, and three days off. Team members will work every other weekend, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. This is a flex position that is primarily assigned to days but may occasionally be required to work 12-hour night shifts (6:00 PM to 6:00 AM) to provide coverage for vacations, leaves, training, or other operational needs.
The Utility Technician/SME (Subject Matter Expert) is a crucial role within the Maintenance Department that will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and reliable operation across all Utility Equipment in the support of the Webster facility. This includes, but is not limited to, High Pressure Boilers and Steam Systems, Refrigeration and Chilled water systems, HVAC, Domestic and Process water systems, High and Low pressure Compressed Air systems, Electrical systems, Fire Suppression systems and related equipment, Safety Systems, and the Facility in general.
The Utility Technician SME will assist the Utilities Manger with providing technical solutions and expertise to Operations and Maintenance. The SME, in addition to daily operations, will help plan and participate in: Continuous Improvement, Shutdowns and Inspections, Environmental Compliance, Overhaul Maintenance, Design Changes, Capital Projects, Safety Procedures, and Performance Standard creation.
