● Experience: Minimum 9–10 years of progressive IT Sourcing experience, with a core
focus on complex enterprise software, public cloud service providers, and
SaaS/PaaS/IaaS commercial structures.
● People Management: Minimum 2–3 years of demonstrated experience directly
managing, mentoring, and developing team members at the Analyst and Senior Analyst
levels.
● Domain & Technical Depth:
○ Deep understanding of enterprise technology systems, software licensing
architectures, and cloud pricing mechanisms (e.g., uncommitted vs. committed
spend, BYOL, core-based vs. user-based metrics).
○ Direct experience negotiating multi-million-dollar agreements with tier-1
technology vendors (e.g., Microsoft, Salesforce, Oracle, SAP, AWS, Google
Cloud, Snowflake).
● Legal & Privacy Acumen: Expert capability in partnering with legal/privacy counsel to
negotiate complex terms (DPAs, cross-border data transfers, liability/indemnification,
audit rights).
● Leadership & Drive: Proactive, go-getter mentality with a proven track record of solving
multi-faceted problems in a matrixed, global corporate structure.
● Communication & Influence: Exceptional written, verbal, and executive presentation
skills; adept at driving consensus among cross-functional global stakeholders.
● Education & Certifications:
○ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering, Business, or Finance.
MBA preferred.
○ Professional certifications (CPSM, CIPS, PMP, AWS/Azure Cloud Practitioner)
highly desirable.
