We’re hiring a Head of Recruiting and Human Resources at Legalist. This position reports directly to Legalist’s leadership. You’ll be joining a growing team of investment professionals, attorneys, and software engineers. Responsibilities
Core responsibilities:
•
Own recruiting companywide, including originating attractive candidates from various pipelines
•
Assist leadership with developing compensation and retention programs for senior staff members
•
Manage payroll/compensation, benefits, and related administrative matters for a fully distributed team of investment professionals
•
Oversee annual evaluation process and facilitate year-round performance feedback for individual teams/personnel
•
Develop and own employee onboarding and ongoing training processes
•
Assist and provide guidance to executive and legal teams on employment law compliance and related issues
Requirements
Qualifications:
•
7+ years’ total relevant experience
•
3+ years’ experience originating prospective candidates in financial services (e.g., private funds or asset management)
•
Highly organized with well-developed attention to detail and project management abilities
•
Prior experience at multistate and/or international employer strongly preferred
•
Flexibility, humility, and a sense of humor required
