As a civil engineer at Nightwing, you will join a multidisciplinary team engaged in research and development and mission support. This role centers on performing structural analyses and generating detailed designs, collaborating closely with mechanical, civil, and electrical engineering professionals to produce effective solutions. Analyses and designs cover a range of materials, including steel, concrete, wood, and composites. Your duties will include writing test plans, coordinating and executing testing, and analyzing results. You will be expected to apply experience with a variety of design codes, common construction practices, and materials ranging from steel to soil. In this role, you will support project managers and team leaders in coordinating internal and external resources and fostering customer relationships through effective communication. Conveying technical solutions to customers and field teams is an essential aspect of this role.
