About the role
We are currently seeking on behalf of our client a Procurement and Tender Specialist.
Client Description: A leading company in the production and supply of electrical energy in Greece and other European countries.
Responsibilities:
•
Managing procurement requests. Collaborating with IT teams of the company to properly shape procurement requests, providing guidance on drafting supplier participation specifications.
•
Drafting the invitation for tenders, creating the tender documents, annexes, and other necessary documentation.
•
Processing and entering procurement requests into the SAP system, ensuring data accuracy and adherence to procedures.
•
Creating detailed RFPs (Requests for Proposal) that include information about project specifications, requirements, terms, and conditions suppliers must meet.
•
Organizing and coordinating the submission process for supplier bids.
•
Collecting and evaluating offers from suppliers to achieve the best agreement for the company.
•
Maintaining and updating contract documentation, ensuring immediate communication to all involved parties regarding any changes, additions, or revisions.
Requirements
•
At least 2 years of work experience in a similar role, especially in IT procurement
•
Knowledge and familiarity with procurement/tender processes.
•
Analytical thinking.
•
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
•
University degree (AEI/TEI).
•
Very good knowledge of Greek and English.
