Competencies and Job Requirements:

Knowledge of how electrical systems work, understanding of National Electrical Code.

Knowledge of Relay Logic and PLC based control systems.
•
Industrial Electrical construction skills
•
Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
•
Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.
•
Public Safety and Security- Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions.

Customer and Personal Service- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer sati Must be familiar with how electrical systems work.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, talk, see, and hear. Must be capable of walking or standing 90% or more of a normal 8 hour work shift. Indoor/Outdoor: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will frequently be exposed to outside weather conditions.
Hazardous Materials/Noise: The noise level in the work place is usually moderate. The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and operating machinery. They will be occasionally exposed to extreme hot/cold and wet conditions, fumes or airborne particles. Employee will be required to work on uneven and limited footing locations. Working surfaces can be loose or slippery as well.
