The Room Attendant is responsible for supporting the Housekeeping operations by ensuring guest rooms and assigned areas are maintained according to hotel standards. This role contributes to guest comfort and satisfaction while maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and service standards in accordance with the hotel’s policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
•
Clean, service, and prepare guest rooms, bathrooms, and assigned areas according to hotel standards.
•
Replace bed linen, towels, guest supplies, and replenish room amenities as required.
•
Inspect guest rooms to ensure cleanliness, proper presentation, and maintenance standards.
•
Report maintenance issues, damages, lost & found items, and unusual incidents to the supervisor.
•
Respond professionally to guest requests while maintaining guest privacy, safety, and service standards.
Requirements
•
Previous experience in housekeeping, hotel cleaning, or a similar role is preferred.
•
Good knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and proper chemical usage.
•
Strong attention to detail with high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
•
Physically fit, able to work efficiently, and willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
•
Good communication and teamwork skills; reliable, disciplined, responsible, and able to follow hotel standards and instructions.
