Program Manager, International Graduate Programs | McDonough School of Business - Georgetown University
This role is locally based in Athens, Greece
This role represents a foundation-building opportunity within the McDonough School of Business, as it will support the establishment of graduate degree program offerings in Athens, Greece, through a partnership with the Public Power Corporation (PPC), the country’s leading integrated electric utility and largest power provider. Through this partnership, Georgetown will deliver graduate education in Athens, launching the Executive Master’s in Leadership (EML) program in the 2026-2027 academic year, followed by the M.S. in Environment and Sustainability Management (ESM) program – a joint degree offering with Georgetown’s Earth Commons Institute – in the subsequent year. The programs may run in parallel or on an alternating basis, and additional programs may be introduced in future years, under an initial 10-year agreement with PPC.
The Program Manager will play a pivotal role in establishing and orchestrating the student-facing elements of Georgetown programs in Greece. Key responsibilities include facilitating program operations, student services, event planning, and faculty/academic support to ensure that all facets of the degree programs are delivered with high quality, a high-touch approach, and professionalism. This level of effort may extend to off-site activities in Athens, Greece, as well as international components such as residencies or modules held abroad. The Program Manager may also be asked to travel and support program operations in Dubai, UAE – where McDonough maintains a branch campus – for any degree, custom program, or short executive education courses that may arise. The Program Manager may also be asked to provide administrative support for admissions and business development efforts (and associated staff) in Athens and the region (e.g., help arrange meetings between sponsor company representatives and Georgetown staff responsible for recruiting and business development).
This position will require regular communication and collaboration with mid-career to executive students, seasoned faculty, and diverse faculty and staff across the university and different time zones, as well as external vendors and service providers. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt and work well in a small, dynamic team and startup environment are essential for success in this role.
