The Mental Health Therapist plays a critical role in delivering high-quality, person-centered behavioral health care to individuals experiencing complex mental health and co-occurring needs. This position provides clinically informed assessment, therapy, crisis intervention, case management, and recovery-focused support that directly contributes to stabilization, safety, and continuity of care. This role is responsible for completing psychosocial assessments, developing and documenting individualized service plans, facilitating individual, group, and family therapy within scope of practice, and coordinating referrals and community resources to support each individual’s recovery goals. Serving as an essential member of the interdisciplinary team, the Therapist provides clinical oversight as assigned, ensures timely and accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory, contractual, and organizational requirements, and helps maintain a safe, therapeutic environment that supports positive outcomes for individuals served.
