• Perform full-cycle accounting activities, including managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, holdback accounts, HST filings, accruals, and other related tasks. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare and maintain monthly financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timely
submission.
• Monitor project costs, expenses, and revenues, ensuring accuracy and
compliance with budgetary constraints.
• Review and reconcile project-related accounts, including payables, receivables, and general ledger accounts.
• Collaborate with project managers to track project progress and identify potential cost overruns or savings opportunities.
• Conduct regular financial audits and reviews to ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide financial analysis and support to project teams, including variance
analysis, cost benefit analysis, and cash flow projections.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies as
needed.
• Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices related to project accounting.
