About the role
We are looking for a Software General Manager, Insurance to act as Territory Manager for Insurance across Spain and Portugal. The successful candidate will report to the General Manager Insurance South Europe and will be responsible for driving growth across the territory, developing new C-level relationships and managing the overall business and financial performance of assigned accounts.

Drive growth across the Iberia Insurance market (Spain/Portugal)

Leverage an established insurance network and industry expertise to accelerate business development.
•
Build and maintain relationships with senior client stakeholders.
•
Lead strategic business discussions and support insurance transformation initiatives.
•
Position DXC’s software and services effectively within the competitive landscape.
•
Act as the General Manager of assigned accounts, with responsibility for P&L, forecasting and business performance.
•
Ensure successful delivery of client engagements and long-term client relationships.
Candidate Profile
Requirements
•
10+ years of experience in software sales within the insurance industry.
•
Strong and well-established network within the Spanish and Iberian insurance market.
•
Deep understanding of insurance principles, market trends, and industry challenges.
•
Experience working within a large global multinational organization.
•
Ability to lead strategic business discussions based on client needs, SWOT analysis, and business strategy development.
•
Strong business development mindset with a proven hunter profile and track record of new business acquisition.
•
Service-oriented approach with a proven ability to build and maintain effective internal and external partnerships.
•
Strong knowledge of software solutions, SaaS and on-premises environments, and supporting infrastructure.
•
Demonstrated leadership capabilities supported by a background in IT and business transformation.
•
Experience managing business performance, including P&L accountability, financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
•
Trustworthy, disciplined, and rigorous approach to account management.
•
Ability to oversee complex client engagements and proactively manage issues that may impact on customer satisfaction and long-term client relationships.
