Job Description
We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team in Laval, Quebec, Monday to Thursday from 3:30 p.m to 2:00 a.m. Reporting to the team leader, the mobile equipment mechanic is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and refurbishing the fleet, working at various sites and following up regularly with their team leader.
What you’re responsible for:
•
Perform maintenance, repairs, and inspections on mobile equipment (trucks, excavators, loaders, lifts, etc.);
•
Perform visual inspections and carry out preventive maintenance according to schedules;
•
Replace defective parts and make necessary repairs;
•
Ensure that equipment operates safely and in accordance with company standards;
•
Travel occasionally to support the team at the Port of Quebec site.
Qualifications

You have a diploma in heavy equipment mechanics.
•
You have PEP certification (an asset).
•
You have experience with hydraulic systems (an asset).
•
You are independent, reliable, and punctual.
•
You are known for your sense of responsibility.
•
You excel at tasks requiring excellent manual dexterity.

You stand out for your speed of execution.
•
You have excellent teamwork skills.
