Eram Talent, a leading talent acquisition company, is seeking an experienced Senior Discipline Engineer – Electrical Design with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Electrical Engineering, preferably within EPC projects in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Hydrocarbon, Refinery, Offshore, or Infrastructure industries.
About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and executing electrical engineering and design activities for large to mega projects, with strong expertise in electrical power distribution systems, ETAP power system studies, relay protection settings, electrical calculations, FEED, detailed engineering, vendor document review, construction, and commissioning support.
Requirements
The candidate should be capable of independently handling electrical engineering deliverables and resolving design and construction-related technical issues in accordance with applicable international standards, NFPA 70/NEC, client specifications, and project requirements.
Requirements
•
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
•
Minimum 10 years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
•
Proven experience in EPC engineering and design environments.
•
Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, Hydrocarbon, Offshore or major Infrastructure projects.
•
Experience working on large to mega-scale projects.
•
Strong knowledge of electrical power distribution systems and associated engineering practices.
•
Strong practical knowledge of ETAP and power system studies.
•
Experience with relay protection and protection settings.
•
Good knowledge of electrical engineering calculations, design principles and international standards.
•
Strong knowledge of NFPA 70/NEC and applicable client/project standards.
•
Experience with engineering deliverables, vendor coordination and site technical support.
•
Ability to work independently as a senior electrical discipline/design engineer.
