About the role
Drive new business and expand CAST AI’s footprint across Korea’s largest enterprises, selling a technical, consumption-priced infrastructure automation platform (Kubernetes cost optimization, autoscaling, GPU/AI infrastructure optimization) into buying committees spanning engineering, DevOps, finance/FinOps, and procurement.
We’re looking for 10+ years of enterprise software/SaaS sales experience, with a track record closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals at large Korean enterprises and multinational subsidiaries in Korea.
Requirements:
•
10+ years as an Account Executive/enterprise sales professional, consistently hitting quota selling into large Korean enterprises.
•
Experience selling cloud SaaS or infrastructure software (Cloud Infrastructure, FinOps, Cloud Security, Observability, or DevOps/Platform Engineering).
•
Working knowledge of Kubernetes and public cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure) — enough to run credible discovery with engineering buyers.
•
Proven use of MEDDIC/MEDDPICC or a comparable value-selling methodology.
•
A hunter mentality — proven ability to build new-logo pipeline, not just manage an inherited book.
•
Fluent Korean (native/near-native) and strong professional English.
•
Executive presence with CIOs/CTOs/Finance leadership.
•
Strong CRM/forecasting discipline (Salesforce or equivalent).
•
Self-starter comfortable building process in an early-stage market, not waiting for one to exist.
Responsibilities:
•
Own full-cycle sales for your Korea territory — outbound pipeline through negotiation and close.
•
Prioritize new-logo acquisition alongside expansion of existing accounts.
•
Run Opportunity Assessment → Value Discovery → Value Demonstration → Value Delivery.
•
Navigate multi-threaded deals (CIO, CTO, VP Engineering, FinOps) typical of Korean chaebol and platform companies.
•
Build executive-level business cases and ROI models tailored to each account.
•
Run technical discovery and executive business reviews, partnering with Sales Engineering on demos and POCs.
•
Maintain rigorous pipeline hygiene and forecasting discipline in the CRM.
•
Represent CAST AI with partners (AWS/GCP/Azure, local SIs) and at industry events.
•
Help shape Korea GTM strategy and messaging as an early team member, alongside the Country Manager.
Nice to have:
•
Existing account context within Korean conglomerates, retail/e-commerce, gaming, platform, manufacturing, or financial holding companies.
•
Hyperscaler co-sell (AWS/GCP/Azure) or local SI partner experience.
•
FinOps Foundation certification or familiarity with the FOCUS framework.
