Digital Leadership Development Rotational Program 2027
The Digital Leadership Development Program (DLDP) is a three-year rotational program with 12 months spent in each rotation. The intention is for participants to spend three years within a specific domain/track of the digital organization, rotating within that track each year to provide exposure and build expertise.
Rotation examples and post-program roles include:
Candidates who pursue rotations within the cybersecurity team will gain exposure to several aspects of cybersecurity at nVent over the course of three years in the DLDP, learning skills that will prepare them for a full-time cybersecurity role helping to secure nVent products, operations, and data against cybersecurity attacks. Potential rotation opportunities within Cybersecurity include:

Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Analyst
•
Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst
•
Vulnerability Management Analyst
•
Operational Technology (OT) Cybersecurity Analyst
•
Connected Product and Software Cybersecurity Analyst
Rotations in the Data & Analytics track of the DLDP are focused on providing a broad foundation in data and analytics with flexibility to specialize in areas that align with the candidate’s career aspirations. The skills a candidate will explore in these rotations range from data collection & analysis; creation of reports and visualizations; understanding of data governance, data quality, and data lifecycle management; and working with users to apply problem-solving skills to address real-world business challenges with data. Potential rotation opportunities within Data & Analytics include:

Data Governance / MDM Specialist
Business Process Architect / Solution Analyst Track
Rotations in the Business Process Analyst/Architect track of the DLDP are focused on providing a broad foundation in both functional and technical ERP modules and business processes with flexibility to specialize in areas that align with the candidate’s career aspirations. The skills a candidate will explore in these rotations will involve:

Collaborating with business teams to investigate opportunities and problems; facilitate process mapping and requirements gathering

In depth researching functionality, identify and configure potential solution options within our Digital ecosystem.

Partner with technical development teams in defining, configuring, testing and implementing solutions
Potential rotation opportunities within this track involve 1 year assignments focused in one or more functional areas (Sales/Distribution, Plan, Source/Buy, Manufacturing, Finance):

Business Process Architect
Rotations in the Digital PMO track of the DLDP are focused on providing a broad foundation of project management and project execution skills with flexibility to specialize in areas that align with the candidate’s career aspirations. The skills a candidate will explore in these rotations will involve:

Lead business and technical teams to deliver business value and new capabilities
•
Collaborate with key stakeholders to proactively resolve risks, issues and dependencies to ensure on time, on budget delivery
•
Facilitate execution through Scaled Agile and standard work to ensure reliable delivery of business value
•
Potential rotation opportunities within Digital PMO track include:
•
Go To Market Pillar, including projects related to online nVent experience, Sales and Operations or Marketing
•
Digitize Operations, including projects related to product lifecycle management, ERP, integrations or IT services
•
Data & Analytics & AI, including projects related to analytics, new AI capabilities and data unification
Candidates who pursue rotations within the ERP teams will gain exposure to several ERPs at nVent over the course of three years in the DLDP, learning skills that will prepare them for a full-time ERP role. Potential rotation opportunities within the ERP track include:
In these roles you will be part of a global and multinational team with ERP analysts located in North America, Europe, India and China. Some skills you will learn could include troubleshooting system problems, provisioning and monitoring user access, analyzing secure data to maintain system integrity and learn deep knowledge in ERP fundamentals, different database knowledge, system programming and cloud concepts.
Upon completion, participants will continue in a permanent capacity in their development program’s domain or track area.
