Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer for 2+ years, with strong development experience.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in CI/CD and version control tools such as GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Git; cloud platforms such as AWS; and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
Application Administration:
Exposure to administration and management of enterprise DevOps applications and tools. Experience with JFrog Artifactory, including repository management, access control, artifact management, and troubleshooting, is desirable.
Programming and Scripting:
Strong experience with programming and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Containerization:
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
Infrastructure as Code:
Hands-on experience with IaC tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
Process:
Experience implementing branching strategies and code review processes to enhance code quality and collaboration.
Monitoring and Logging:
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk.
System and Networking:
Familiarity with system administration tasks, including managing Linux and Windows servers, configuring network services, and ensuring system security and performance optimization.
Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Communication:
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Certifications:
Relevant certifications in cloud platforms, DevOps tools, or related technologies are a plus.
Security Compliance:
Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements.
