Key Duties:
•
Supervise and support the station cleaning team.
•
Allocate daily tasks and monitor completion.
•
Maintain high cleaning and presentation standards.
•
Carry out cleaning duties when required.
•
Conduct routine quality and safety inspections.
•
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and COSHH procedures.
•
Monitor cleaning supplies, PPE and equipment.
•
Report hazards, defects and maintenance issues.
•
Train and support new team members.
•
Complete shift records and provide effective handovers.
•
Liaise with station management and operational teams.
•
Promote excellent teamwork and customer service.
Requirements:
•
Requirements: A full, valid UK driving licence is mandatory for this role.
•
Previous cleaning experience, ideally within a station or transport environment.
•
Previous supervisory or team-leading experience preferred.
•
Good knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH procedures.
•
Strong communication and organisational skills.
•
Ability to lead, motivate and support a team.
•
Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
•
Good attention to detail and high cleaning standards.
•
Flexible to work shifts, including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
•
Physically able to carry out cleaning duties.
•
Right to work in the UK.
