Education: Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program, bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
Licensure/Certification: Must have a current RN license in good standing in the state of Ohio or in accordance with the Board of Nursing. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation that is insured in accordance with Ohio requirements
3–5+ years of hospice experience: Strong background in hospice experiences that include: End-of-life care, Pain and symptom management, Interdisciplinary team (IDT) leadership, Medicare hospice regulations
2–3+ years in a supervisory or management role, such as: Clinical Manager, Patient Care Manager, Assistant Director of Nursing
Must have experience with: Staff supervision and coaching/discipline, Clinical performance improvement and Policy development and enforcement
Strong knowledge of: Medicare Hospice Conditions of Participation including State hospice regulations, Accreditation standards (CHAP, ACHC, Joint Commission), Surveys and audits, Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement (QAPI), and Risk management and infection control
