As a Senior Travel and Expense Analyst, you will leverage your deep expertise in financial operations and emerging technologies to drive systemic efficiency and continuous improvement across Travel and Expense operations. This role is designed for a proactive professional who will transition individual operational successes into scalable, team-wide capabilities. You will be responsible for re-engineering complex reconciliation processes, identifying and addressing workflow gaps, and championing automation using AI and related tools. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager, Travel & Expense. Responsibility Maintain operational alignment and drive continuous process enhancements backed by comprehensive documentation Support employees via a ticket system in ServiceNow, weekly training, and Slack Quantify time and effort savings from current systems to justify and scope pilots for automation and AI integration while working across platforms to meet CAO targets Monitor industry trends to propose strategic updates that enhance the user experience, drive internal adoption, and deliver cost efficiencies for Docusign Maintain travel sustainability and budgetary reporting in alignment with company goals Identify systemic friction/ bottlenecks in manual processes and lead high-impact automation projects, which includes quantifying time/effort savings from current systems to justify and scope pilots for low-code automation (e.g., AppScript, Alteryx) and AI integration Manage and optimize complex month-end reconciliation processes, specifically for large-scale corporate travel card programs (growing from 4 to 18+ active cards), ensuring global compliance and multi-currency accuracy Integrate AI tools actively into daily workflows (e.g., drafting communications, meeting summaries, data analysis) to serve as a “virtual assistant” and identify further opportunities for AI-driven and automation productivity gains Formalize organizational mastery into team standards Lead knowledge-share sessions on advanced tool features and document updated Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to reduce key-person risk Demonstrate “Unity” and “Collaboration” by partnering across FPandA, Accounting, and technical experts to align reporting features with budget tracking and strategic needs
