• Perform QA/QC assessments of DCO-S cybersecurity capabilities throughout integration, deployment, upgrade, and sustainment activities.
• Validate deployed DCO-S tool suites to ensure systems are properly configured, operational, and performing in accordance with established technical and mission requirements.
• Execute standardized QC checks, test procedures, and inspection criteria to evaluate system health, configuration, data ingestion, cybersecurity coverage, and overall performance.
• Analyze system logs, network data, application outputs, and performance metrics to identify anomalies, data gaps, configuration issues, and potential deficiencies.
• Develop, maintain, and improve Quality Control inspection procedures, checklists, reports, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and supporting technical documentation.
• Document QC findings, identify deficiencies and trends, and develop actionable recommendations for engineering teams, operators, and government stakeholders.
• Perform post-installation and post-upgrade validation to confirm newly deployed capabilities and software releases operate as intended within the mission environment.
• Support cybersecurity data coverage analysis to determine whether deployed sensors and applications are collecting and processing the data required to support Defensive Cyber Operations.
• Assist with root-cause analysis and troubleshooting of identified system performance, data ingestion, network, or cybersecurity issues.
• Collaborate with DCO-S operators, system administrators, network engineers, Integrated Solutions personnel, software developers, and mission partners to resolve identified deficiencies.
• Support development and validation of technical metrics, dashboards, coverage maps, trend analyses, and other products that provide leadership and operators visibility into system health and mission effectiveness.
• Support validation of cybersecurity capabilities and tools, including network sensors, log collection, data processing, threat detection, and visualization technologies.
• Provide technical feedback to software development and engineering teams to support continuous improvement within Agile, SAFe, and DevSecOps processes.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), integration testing, regression testing, and other verification and validation activities associated with new capabilities and software releases.
• Support systems engineering and integration activities associated with cyber-relevant capabilities deployed into U.S. Space Force mission systems.
• Travel to CONUS and OCONUS customer locations, as required, to support site surveys, installations, system upgrades, testing, post-installation validation, and QC assessments. Travel of up to 25% is anticipated.
