Duties and Responsibilities
•
Supervises and coordinates the work of employees within his direct area of responsibility, including:
•
Developing and implementing preventive maintenance plans for all injection molds used in the Molding department.
•
Organizing and overseeing the repair and maintenance of all injection molds in the Molding department.
•
Coordinating the ordering, manufacturing, and supplier claim processes related to injection molds for new business projects.
•
Coordinating and ensuring the efficient operation of the Machining area.
•
Planning and executing capital investment projects.
•
Coordinating activities and communication with suppliers.
•
Supervises and maintains the areas under his responsibility, including ensuring 5S standards are sustained in the office, Toolshop, Machining Workshop, and Toolshop storage areas.
•
Continuously monitors, reports, and drives improvement of the key performance indicators (KPIs) defined for his area of responsibility, involving team members as appropriate.
•
Leads preparations for customer and system audits and actively participates in such audits.
•
Conducts Layered Process Audits (LPA) and ensures that employees within his area of responsibility also perform the required audits.
•
Participates in quality and efficiency analyses and contributes to the development and implementation of corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
•
Supports new product introductions and product changes by participating in process development and providing the necessary resources, supervision, and project support.
•
Collaborates with relevant departments on technical matters, contributing to solution development and supporting decision-making processes.
•
Cooperates with colleagues across departments both within and outside the plant and maintains relationships with domestic and international partners and suppliers.
•
Ensures adequate staffing levels, actively contributes to employee development, and supports the implementation of employee suggestions and improvement initiatives.
•
Participates in recruitment and selection processes.
•
Coordinates vacation planning and employee reallocations when necessary and oversees the organization and control of overtime activities.
•
Actively contributes to ensuring that the budget targets and cost limits defined for his area of responsibility are met.
•
Ensures compliance with and enforcement of quality, occupational health and safety, fire safety, environmental protection regulations, and production procedures. Safeguards company assets within his area of responsibility.
Education:
University degree in Engineering or a minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience in a related field.
Technical characteristics:
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and processes
Knowledge of quality assurance standards and requirements
Business-level English proficiency with strong communication and negotiation skills
Personal characterisctics:
Process-oriented mindset with the ability to think holistically and manage complex situations
Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong sense of ownership, decisiveness, and attention to detail
Demonstrated leadership capability and a proactive management approach
