Note: Partly is headquartered in Austin, TX with offices in London, UK, Christchurch, NZ and Auckland, NZ. Partly is connecting the world’s parts, and we’re doing that by building the AI infrastructure layer for the global repair industry, starting with the $2tn automotive market. Our frontier model, Interpreter, is the world’s first AI purpose-built to understand vehicle damage and the parts needed to fix it. Thousands of businesses across the global repair supply chain already rely on it.

In this role, you will work alongside other members of our software engineering team to tackle exciting R&D problems.

💻 What will you do

You will be part of one of our R&D teams and build a project with real, meaningful, and major impact for our clients.

You will have the chance to learn, contribute, and deepen your engineering skills.

You will architect, design, implement, test, and deliver highly scalable products through high-impact projects.

You will learn software delivery practices from the best in the field.

You have an exciting project to share with us—something you are truly proud of.

You are enrolled in and working toward a BS in Computer Science or a related field.

•

You are a problem solver who loves complex problems.

•

You have strong engineering fundamentals.

•

You don’t build apps; you build scalable, maintainable solutions.

You spend time outside of university working on personal projects.

•

You are a clear communicator and a team player.

•

You are able to work and learn autonomously.

•

You are, or can be, based in Christchurch, New Zealand for the duration of the internship.
