The CEO currently has roughly 25 people, agencies, and suppliers reporting to him across Customer Service, TikTok Shop, Amazon, Operations, Retention, and Finance — plus a running list of ~20 ad hoc growth projects. There is no layer between him and the work. Every decision, follow-up, deadline, blocker, and loose thread routes to one inbox.
The Chief of Staff is that layer. You will own the operating system of the company: who owns what, how they’re measured, what they committed to, and whether it actually happened. You’ll also own a rotating portfolio of high-leverage projects end to end, and you’ll handle the CEO’s calendar, inbox, and meeting follow-up so his time goes to product, partnerships, and P&L.
This is not a coordination job. You are expected to get into the weeds, do the work yourself, push people, and raise the standard. You start reporting directly to the CEO with influence rather than formal authority — and as you prove you can handle it, you’ll be given the authority to escalate, reassign, and put underperformers on a plan.
Where this goes: if you crush this role, the path is C-suite or President within two years. That is a real offer, not a recruiting line.
