Job Description:
The Medical Transport Specialist is responsible for providing and facilitating non-emergency patient transportation. Responsible for transporting patients from the pickup location to their destination in a timely manner. Maintain a clean vehicle and work space. Responsible for providing kind and safe transportation.Education:▪ Required: High School Diploma or EquivalentExperience:▪ No previous experience requiredSkills:▪ Calmly and efficiently perform and make appropriate decisions rapidly under stress in emergency situations▪ Ability to work outdoors▪ Ability to follow instructions▪ Is familiar with age specific needs for the patient population served▪ Must be 21 years of ageLicensure/Certification/Registration:▪ Required: For-hire driver’s license (Class E) or greater (CDL). Driving record will be reviewed upon hire, and any previous violations must be approved.▪ Preferred: Current Missouri licensure as E.M.T.
