Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Corporate Controller, the Controller, Metal Processing & Projects will lead the accounting, financial reporting, and internal control functions for OBE’s metal processing and project-based operations, including two metal processing facilities and seven project facilities.
This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of accounting processes related to inventory valuation, standard costing, inventory controls, bad debt reserves, warranty reserves, back charge reserves, sales cut-off, goods received not invoiced (GRNI), and other key accounting areas.
As a key leader within OBE’s accounting organization, this individual will ensure accounting policies, procedures, and controls are consistently applied across the business and maintained in accordance with U.S. GAAP. The successful candidate will bring strong technical accounting expertise, process improvement experience, and a passion for building scalable financial controls in a dynamic and evolving environment.

This hybrid position requires working onsite four days per week from either OBE’s Corporate Headquarters in Dallas, TX or the metal processing facility in Terrell, TX.
