Responsibilities
What You’ll Do:
As a Business Development Manager, you will drive new business acquisition by partnering with employers, benefits leaders, HR professionals, consultants, and brokers to deliver innovative financial wellness and consumer-directed healthcare solutions.
Using a consultative sales approach, you will identify client needs, uncover opportunities, and develop customized strategies that align with organizational goals while enhancing the employee experience.
You will collaborate with internal partners and subject matter experts to support opportunities throughout the sales cycle and build long-term client relationships.
Requirements
Ideal Candidate Experience:
Candidates who have experience selling or consulting on employer-sponsored benefit solutions, including:
Consumer-Directed Healthcare (CDH) products
Health Savings Accounts (HSAs)
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)
Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRAs)
COBRA or benefits administration solutions
Employee benefits technology platforms
Financial wellness programs
Payroll, HRIS, or workforce solutions
Nice to have
Preferred Backgrounds - Experience selling to one or more of the following audiences:
Human Resources leaders
Benefits leaders
Total Rewards professionals
Benefits consultants and brokers
Payroll decision-makers
Finance leaders
Candidates with direct Consumer-Directed Healthcare (CDH), HSA, FSA, HRA, employee benefits, benefits administration, or financial wellness sales experience are strongly preferred.PNC is an in-office company that fosters a supportive culture where employees can thrive and achieve balance. Job Description
•
Focuses on acquiring new clients across financial wellness solutions. Emphasis is on growing sales, revenue and market share with relevant sales goals. Typically works with clients with moderate levels of risk and complexity of needs. Generally works with a moderate degree of supervision.

Works within stated guidelines to acquire and/or expand and retain client relationships to generate revenue and deepen share of wallet. Handles the origination, financial analysis, negotiation and documentation of non-credit products and services.
•
Manages risk/return and drives quality for new and/or existing clients. Actively identifies and mitigates different types of risk, such as regulatory, reputational, and operational risks.
•
Focuses on client opportunities by providing ideas and insights based on an understanding of the client’s needs and their financial well-being. Focuses on increasing client engagement and loyalty.
•
Manages effective network of internal and external relationships, such as community or industry relationships, to actively acquire new clients and/or expand existing clients and enhance the client experience. Focuses on bringing entire bank to the client by presenting the full range of PNC’s products and services. Leverages reporting and sales tools to proactively identify and successfully convert sales opportunities.

Pay Transparency
Base Salary: $84,000.00 – $156,000.00Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
