You will own design for key parts of BoomScreen, Boom’s tenant screening and applicant verification product. You’ll work closely with product managers and engineers to turn user and business needs into intuitive, usable experiences, and report to [Product/Design lead - TBD]. You’ll partner daily with engineering, product, and other designers, with regular exposure to leadership as you take on more ownership. You’ll need to be comfortable working across wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI, and translating ambiguous problems into clear, usable flows. This role is a great fit for someone who wants to own design end to end at a fast-moving startup, work hand-in-hand with engineers to ship what they design, and build on our existing design system and component library. It’s not a great fit for someone who wants to work in isolation from engineering, focus mainly on research, or hand off concepts without following through to implementation. This role is based in Austin alongside our product, design, and engineering team.
