If you feel fit the requirements of the role, apply for the position of “Security Duty Officer” for Kos Airport under a Fixed-Term Contract.
What you will be doing:
•
Μonitor the implementation of the Airport Security Program, the Standard Operation Procedures, and Work Instructions.
•
Actively participate, in emergencies or other occurrences threatening the Security or normal operations of the airport.
•
Monitor the attendance of the security personnel and the proper staffing of security points, verify the shift’s security hours schedule, and inform accordingly the Security Supervisor and Airport Duty Manager.
•
Take measures and actions to prevent operational disruptions, ensuring operational effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
•
Maintain a continuous line of communication with the SM, Duty Manager of the security services provider, to ensure the proper execution of the assigned tasks in compliance with the Airport’s Security Program.
•
Respond to and assist the Police in emergency situations, under the Security Supervisor’s directions and guidance.
•
Respond to ID card requests in the absence of ID Card Officers, upon availability.
Requirements
Do you fulfill the required skills?
•
High School Diploma. Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field will be considered an asset.
•
A 3-5 years of solid professional experience in Aviation Security.
•
Excellent knowledge of the HCAA’s requirements and procedures, in the field of Aviation Security.
•
Previous experience in Airport operations.
•
Proficiency in MS Office
•
Driving License Cat: B
•
Fluency in Greek and English (oral and written at a professional corporate level).
•
Fulfilled Military Obligations (if applicable).
